Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hoban Washburn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Chyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Washburn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Magic Carpet Ride. Chyn has chosen Como Tudo Deve Ser as his entrance music. Hoban Washburn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chyn takes the fight into the clinch.
Washburn lands with a short head shot on the inside.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Washburn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Washburn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chyn swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Chyn closes this distance looking for a takedown but Washburn circles away.
Chyn darts in looking for a takedown but Washburn gets double underhooks and turns Chyn into the cage.

Washburn seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Washburn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chyn's waist but Chyn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Washburn off to one side.

Washburn bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chyn's guard.

Washburn drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Chyn manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Washburn has Chyn in his guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Chyn connects with a good right hand that stumbles Washburn. Washburn circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Chyn clobbers Washburn with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

A punch lands to the side of Chyn 's head but he takes it in his stride.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
