The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Darius Henderson and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vladimir shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shaw as he jumps to the side.
Shaw lands a head kick. Vladimir smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Jack Shaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vladimir takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Shaw plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Shaw lands with a nice body punch.
Shaw works over Vladimir's head and body with a nice combination.

Shaw drops Vladimir with a beautiful combination! Vladimir stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Shaw is looking for the KO!

Shaw cracks Vladimir with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Vladimir is still on wobbly legs! Can Shaw finish him?
Vladimir shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shaw as he jumps to the side.

and Shaw counters with a right hand to the body.
Vladimir seems to have recovered his senses.
Jack Shaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jovan Vladimir.

Shaw connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Vladimir darts in looking for a takedown but Shaw gets double underhooks and turns Vladimir into the cage.

Shaw throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vladimir stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Shaw comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Vladimir on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Shaw feints with a jab and clips Vladimir right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Vladimir is sent crashing into the canvas and Shaw leaps in for the kill! Vladimir tries to get to his feet but Shaw is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Vladimir is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Shaw!
