Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tatu Tikki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Mendoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tikki comes to the cage accompanied by Ratatat - Loud Pipes. Mendoza is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dr green thumb by C ypress Hill. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tikki changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mendoza looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Mendoza is not content to let Tikki control the position.
Tikki throws an elbow but Mendoza slips to the side and avoids it well.
Tikki cracks Mendoza with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Mendoza takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Tikki is trying to ground and pound but Mendoza uses the momentary lack of control by Tikki to regain half guard.

Tikki is keen to just control but Mendoza is a slippery customer.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Mendoza misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Tikki.

Tikki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Mendoza looks gassed!
Tikki shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mendoza pinned against the cage. Mendoza gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Tikki fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Eddie Mendoza is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tikki scores with a one two! Mendoza had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Mendoza is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The referee warns Mendoza that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Tikki fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Tikki is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Mendoza is surviving well by controlling Tikki's body position as best he can.

Mendoza bucks up and throws Tikki to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

It looks like Eddie Mendoza has been cut.
Tikki wants to control but Mendoza is keeping him busy.
Mendoza is still in real trouble! Can Tikki finish him?
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tikki grinds an elbow into Mendoza's temple.
Tikki misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tatu Tikki dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

No joy there for Tikki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mendoza seems to have recovered his senses.
Tatu Tikki is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Tikki tries to bum rush Mendoza with a series of wild strikes but Mendoza uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Tikki lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

and Mendoza makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Tikki rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mendoza moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Mendoza counters with a big head kick but Tikki shrugs it off.

and Tikki takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mendoza avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tikki lands a hook that stumbles Mendoza back into the cage. Tikki follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Mendoza to the canvas! Tikki pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Mendoza has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
