Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Juan Carlos Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Barbosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barbosa has chosen Enough-Disturbed as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anderson Barbosa!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ortiz swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ortiz changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Ortiz drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Barbosa wants to get back to his feet but Ortiz drags him back down.
Ortiz landing strikes.
Barbosa takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Ortiz content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Barbosa pushes Ortiz away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ortiz gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Barbosa takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ortiz looks up at the clock and then as Barbosa takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ortiz smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ortiz is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Barbosa will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ortiz lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Ortiz cracks Barbosa with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Ortiz immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Barbosa is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Ortiz!
