Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
lokey misses with the combination.
lokey looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ju wants to clinch.
lokey tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ju swivels and escapes.
Ju tries to clinch there but lokey circles away.
lokey is looking to clinch.
Ju closes the distance looking to clinch
and lokey counters with a one-two to the body.
Ju tries to clinch but lokey moves away

and lokey counters by moving into the clinch.
Ju lands a body punch in the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ju misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from lokey.

lokey tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ju smiles and moves away.

and lokey counters with a nice double leg into guard.
lokey trying to control but Ju is working from the bottom.

Ju throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
lokey trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ju's guard.

lokey drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ju manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now lokey has Ju in his guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ju wanted to stand there but lokey had control of the position.
Ju knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for lokey on the ground.
Ju won't allow lokey to sweep him here.
lokey seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

lokey is looking for a triangle but Ju pushes his legs off easily.
lokey wants to sweep here but Ju controlling him for the moment.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

lokey manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Ju tries to clinch there but lokey circles away.

lokey darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
lokey is trying to control the action in half guard but Ju is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and lokey counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by lokey.

lokey content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Ju has locked up a guillotine! Ju's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? lokey is holding on here and Ju must be using up a lot of energy. lokey has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Ju gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
