Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddie The Rain Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Winchester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Rain Man comes to the cage accompanied by Dejame Entrar. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eddie The Rain Man!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Winchester!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Columbo Gatti and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Rain Man pulls out of a head kick attempt.
David Winchester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Rain Man scores with a three punch combo!
The Rain Man misses with a takedown attempt - Winchester sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The Rain Man closes the distance and clinches.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
The Rain Man wants to break free but Winchester has control.
The Rain Man taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
The Rain Man wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
The Rain Man is pressed up against the cage. Winchester has hold of a leg and is looking to drag The Rain Man down to the mat. The Rain Man avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The Rain Man rushes Winchester and presses him up against the cage.
The Rain Man wants to get back to striking at distance but Winchester won't allow it.

and Winchester counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The Rain Man manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Winchester avoids the attempt from The Rain Man to control.
Winchester unloads with some shots from mount but The Rain Man bucks and avoids them well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The Rain Man wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Winchester throwing strikes but The Rain Man uses the opportunity to regain half guard.

Winchester prevents The Rain Man from breaking the clinch.
The Rain Man struggles to land a body shot inside as Winchester controls his hands.
The Rain Man wants to break the clinch but can't.
The Rain Man tries to pull guard but Winchester won't allow it.
Winchester tries for a takedown. No joy.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The Rain Man shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than The Rain Man was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Winchester is trying to reverse the position but instead The Rain Man has taken his back - oops!

Winchester is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Winchester tries to roll but The Rain Man sticks to his back.

The Rain Man takes Winchester's back, avoiding a couple of desperation strikes from the bottom.

The Rain Man's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The Rain Man closes the distance and lands a one-two.
The Rain Man throws a series of punches but Winchester avoids them all with ease.
The Rain Man fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Winchester.
The Rain Man looks to land a combination but Winchester avoids it well.
The Rain Man stalks Winchester and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Winchester's face. Winchester staggers backwards, shaken.
The Rain Man lands a head kick. Winchester smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The Rain Man wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The Rain Man wants to stand and escape but Winchester is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

and The Rain Man counters with a series of strikes. Winchester will be more careful next time no doubt.

The Rain Man throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Winchester's waist but Winchester gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing The Rain Man off to one side.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Winchester is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
The Rain Man really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Winchester.
David Winchester has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
You can see the frustration on Winchester's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The Rain Man just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Winchester is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Eddie The Rain Man overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The Rain Man is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Winchester with him. Winchester is trying to defend but The Rain Man has an arm under the chin now! Winchester grimaces and is forced to tap out!
