Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leon Langlais!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Roberts and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turner drives through with a takedown into Langlais's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Turner with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Turner has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Turner seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Langlais for as long as he can get away with.
Turner could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Turner's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Langlais really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Turner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Turner won't allow Langlais to get back to his feet.

Turner drops back looking for a leg! Langlais is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Langlais manages to kick Turner off! Turner jumps back into Langlais's guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Turner is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Langlais is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Turner dives into side control.

Turner is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Langlais has escaped the position, nice work there.
Langlais is letting Turner control him for a moment.
Turner scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Langlais to see if he's OK.
Langlais tries to control but Turner manages to take his back.

Turner is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Langlais taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Turner.
