The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duphus tries to clinch but Hands moves out of range.
Duphus gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Hands counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hands.

Duphus should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Hands's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Hands counters with a nice double leg into side control. Duphus won't be happy with that.
Hands scores with a couple of short elbows.

Hands is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Duphus is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
