Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Devon Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moses Sithole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sithole has chosen I Miss The Misery as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Moses Sithole!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith moves into the clinch.
Smith is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Sithole breaks the clinch.
Sithole takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

and Smith counters with a stiff right hand.
Sithole scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Smith doesn't seem bothered though.
Sithole throws a poor cross that misses
and Smith counters with a nice body shot.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sithole swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sithole throws a sloppy head kick and Smith moves out of range easily.

and Smith counters by moving into the clinch.

Smith tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Sithole lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Sithole has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Sithole keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Smith takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Devon Smith has been cut.
Sithole finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Smith appears to be looking for a big counter.
Sithole fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Smith.
Smith scores with a jab to the jaw.
Smith moves out of range of the body kick from Sithole.
Smith ducks under a wild hook from Sithole.
Smith is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Sithole throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sithole.
Sithole looks for the body kick but Smith saw that one coming.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A looping hook to the body misses from Sithole. Smith does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sithole thumps Smith with a low kick.
Smith misses with a jab, cross combination.
Smith checks a leg kick nicely.
Sithole tries a head kick but it misses.
Sithole lets loose with a powerful body kick. Smith will feel that in the morning.
Sithole connects with a looping right hand.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sithole, as that shot connected.

A lazy left from Smith finds it's target.
Smith on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Sithole tries to clinch but Smith moves away
and Smith counters with a stiff right hand.
Smith throws a hook to the side of Sithole's head but Sithole sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sithole throws a half hearted mid kick.
Smith is looking to counter punch.
Sithole has his takedown stuffed

and Smith moves into the clinch.

Sithole pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sithole.
Sithole misses with a left hand
and Smith counters with a nice uppercut.

Sithole misses with a low kick as Smith jumps back.
Sithole moves away from the strike by Smith.
Sithole lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sithole throws a half hearted mid kick.
Smith swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Sithole throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Smith sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Smith throws a hook to the side of Sithole's head but Sithole sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sithole is looking to slow Smith down with leg kicks.
Sithole lands with a kick to the temple. Smith shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Smith gets a clinch.

Sithole pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sithole thows a leg kick but Smith checks it
and Smith counters with a huge head kick that drops Sithole! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
