Wad looks for the body kick but Gumble saw that one coming.
Wad bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Wad swings wildly with an uppercut but Gumble uses good head movement to avoid it.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Gumble creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Gumble lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Gumble drops Wad onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Wad is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Oh Wad is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gumble dips a shoulder and cracks Wad with a mighty uppercut! Wad falls back against the cage and Gumble unloads with a barrage of strikes! Wad is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Gumble screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Barney Gumble!
Barney Gumble is the new heavyweight champion!
A relieved looking Barney Gumble thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
