Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Kade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rock Allen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dan Kade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rock Allen!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dan Kade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Kade.
Allen looks for a takedown but Kade sprawls well.

Kade tries to clinch there but Allen circles away.

Allen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Allen tries to stand and escape but Kade is controlling the position.
Allen is keen to just control but Kade is a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kade escapes and gets back to his feet.

Kade fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Allen, pushing him back against the cage.
Kade pushes Allen back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kade is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Allen pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Allen is trying to pull guard but Kade turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Kade has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Allen is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Allen is looking to break free of the clinch but Kade has double underhooks.
Allen is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Dan Kade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rock Allen.
Kade drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Allen lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Kade seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Allen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kade moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kade tries to counter with a takedown but Allen is quick to defend against it.

and Kade counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Allen tries to close the distance and clinch but Kade swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kade dives in for a single leg takedown but Allen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Allen misses with a double jab.
Kade attempts a counter takedown but Allen avoids it well and moves away.
Kade fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Allen on the side of the head.
Kade lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Kade shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Allen as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Kade. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Allen misses with a few strikes there.
Kade delivers a nice body kick.
Kade is trying hard to land a takedown here. Allen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Some bone on bone action there as Allen checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Allen moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kade shoots in and bounces Allen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kade gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Rock Allen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Allen misses with a few strikes there.

Allen takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Kade changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Allen misses with a wild body shot.
Allen misses the shot to the body.
Kade attempts a counter takedown but Allen avoids it well and moves away.
Dan Kade is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Allen takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Allen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kade tries to counter with a takedown but Allen is quick to defend against it.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kade changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Allen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kade has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Allen is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Kade stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Allen gets caught flat footed, as Kade shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kade controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Kade seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Allen for as long as he can get away with.
Allen is trying to control the position but Kade postures up.

Rock Allen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Dan Kade overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kade, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
