The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Penn as he connects with a hook.
Penn misses with a low kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pedan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Penn has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Penn and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Pedan drops his hands momentarily and Penn takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Nice uppercut lands for Pedan. That snapped Penn's head back.

Pedan drops Penn with a left right combo! Pedan follows him down to the ground into side control.

Penn is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pedan advances nicely into full mount.
Oh Penn is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pedan looking to control and managing it successfully.

Pedan is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Pedan misses with the combination.
It looked like Penn was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Pedan.
Pedan throws a head kick but Penn moves out of range.
Pedan lands a leg kick that knocks Penn off balance momentarily.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Pedan has cracked Penn with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Pedan lands another huge swinging hook and Penn tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Penn, before Pedan can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Alexander Pedan! Alexander Pedan retains his featherweight title!
