PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Hagen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Grace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Hagen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Grace did well to prevent Hagen getting side control.

Hagen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Grace is just riding it out for now. Hagen eventually gives up the hold.

Hagen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Grace can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
