Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andy Barclay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Jenkins Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barclay comes to the cage accompanied by Roxy Music - Avalon. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins Jr wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Barclay misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Barclay keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Jenkins Jr fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barclay manages to avoid it.
Barclay lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Barclay.

It looks like Jeremy Jenkins Jr has been cut.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Barclay lands a knee to the head.
Jenkins Jr tries to throw a body punch but Barclay avoids it by throwing Jenkins Jr back against the cage.

Barclay manages to break the clinch.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Jenkins Jr goes for an armbar but Barclay turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Barclay.

Barclay drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jenkins Jr manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Barclay has Jenkins Jr in his guard.

Barclay is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Bruize Brothers, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Jenkins Jr wants to control the pace but Barclay is squirming around nicely.
Barclay knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jenkins Jr on the ground.

Jenkins Jr is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Barclay can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Whack! Barclay lands a heavy head kick that drops Jenkins Jr. The ref tackles Barclay to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Jenkins Jr was done.
