Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Boreste Bardanos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zlatko Zahovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bardanos comes to the cage accompanied by My Kingdom Will Come. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bardanos takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Zahovic. Bardanos does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bardanos jabs Zahovic to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Bardanos throws a body punch but Zahovic moves out of range.
Bardanos drops his hands momentarily and Zahovic takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Zahovic had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bardanos defends it easily.

Zahovic isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bardanos stacks Zahovic on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bardanos!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bardanos has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Zahovic's face.
Bardanos has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Zahovic wants to hold on but Bardanos pushes him away.

Zahovic has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bardanos should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Zahovic has tightened it up now! Bardanos should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
