Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beach Bum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johannes Witenberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johannes Witenberg will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Witenberg on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Witenberg has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Bum waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Witenberg.
Witenberg tries to counter with a clinch but Bum shakes him off and moves away.
Bum throws a shot from downtown. Witenberg moves away and avoids it.
Bum pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Witenberg tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Bum misses with an uppercut.
Bum throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bum fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Witenberg manages to avoid it.

Witenberg closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bum did well to prevent Witenberg getting side control.
Bum slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Witenberg is pushing down on Bum's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bum is fighting to maintain full guard but Witenberg has managed to sneak the leg through.
Bum is looking for a sweep. Witenberg is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Witenberg is thwarting Bum's attempts to control the position.

Witenberg thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Bum is trying to get back to full guard.
Bum is working hard here to advance position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bum has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Witenberg escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Witenberg!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Witenberg landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
You can see the frustration on Bum's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Bum is trying to improve his position.
Witenberg wants to control but Bum is keeping him busy.
Witenberg sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bum is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Bum tries to improve position but can't.
Bum parries the strikes from Witenberg easily there. Witenberg is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bum to escape.
Bum is trying to get back to half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Witenberg ducks under a wild hook from Bum.
Witenberg moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Bum rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Witenberg counters by clinching up.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Witenberg.
A frustrated look appears on Witenberg's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bum misses with the head strike.

Witenberg breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Witenberg ducks under a wild hook from Bum.
Beach Bum is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bum swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Witenberg darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bum tries to get to full guard but Witenberg has control of the leg.

Witenberg seems to be looking for submissions.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bum wants to get back to full guard but Witenberg has mounted him!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bum keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johannes Witenberg dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

No joy there for Bum, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bum misses with a wild combination.
Despite the aggression on Witenberg's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Witenberg drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Witenberg slips under a jab.
The fighters circling - Bum throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bum looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Witenberg uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bum.
Witenberg staying out of range there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bum throws a jab when Witenberg was well out of range.
Witenberg tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bum defends well and Witenberg ends up having to push Bum into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Witenberg lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Witenberg steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bum.
Bum falls off balance throwing a combination

and Witenberg counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Bum!
Bum is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Witenberg off and has taken his back!
Bum wants to control but Witenberg manages to buck him off and is now in Bum's guard! Nice work there by Witenberg!
Bum looking for a sweep. Not yet Bum, not yet.
Bum might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Bum had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Witenberg defends it easily.
Bum wants to control but Witenberg passes easily into half guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bum has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Witenberg. Oh but Bum has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Witenberg goes limp - he's gone! Bum jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
