The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kai fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kai drives through with a takedown into Juarez's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Juarez controls Kai momentarily but Kai frees himself.
Juarez can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kai controls the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Juarez keeping full guard, as Kai tries to pass.
Juarez looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Kai puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Juarez is trying to maintain the position but Kai is very close to passing his half guard.
Juarez is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Juarez is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kai is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Kai is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Juarez is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
