Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bjorn Lodbrok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lodbrok has chosen Killing in the name of... as his entrance music. Bjorn Lodbrok has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Leandro Jones's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Leandro Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bjorn Lodbrok!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Jones blocks a head kick by Lodbrok.
Jones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lodbrok manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lodbrok stuffs the takedown.
A solid leg kick lands there for Lodbrok.
Lodbrok throws a lazy head kick
and Jones counters with a nice uppercut.
Lodbrok connects with a jab.
Lodbrok goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Jones darts in and clinches Lodbrok up against the cage.
Lodbrok stops a takedown attempt from Jones.

Jones jumps into guard, dragging Lodbrok to the mat.
Lodbrok stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lodbrok avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Jones has an active guard here but Lodbrok has managed to pass into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, if Lodbrok is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Jones gets back to full guard.

Jones had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lodbrok defends it easily.

Lodbrok must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jones throws his legs up looking for a submission but Lodbrok uses it to pass to side control.

We've been hearing good reports from Jones's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Lodbrok tries to move into full mount but can't pass Jones's legs.
Jones tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Jones wants to control but Lodbrok is keeping busy.
Lodbrok takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Jones tries to get to full guard but Lodbrok has control of the leg.
Jones trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Lodbrok sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Lodbrok wants to control the pace but Jones is squirming around nicely.

Jones tries to control the position but Lodbrok now has his back.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Lodbrok throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jones tries to clinch but Lodbrok is having none of it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones.

Jones is looking to clinch but Lodbrok is avoiding it.
Lodbrok swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Good standup being displayed there by Lodbrok as he connects with a hook.
Lodbrok throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Lodbrok circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lodbrok scores with a head kick. Jones tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Lodbrok on his heels. He'll look to pass Lodbrok's guard now, I'm sure.

Jones decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Lodbrok lands a big head kick that sends Jones tumbling to the mat! Lodbrok takes a step backwards and waves Jones back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Lodbrok displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jones.
Bjorn Lodbrok seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Jones tries to clinch but Lodbrok is having none of it.
Lodbrok lunges at Jones with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jones's hand.

Jones is rocked!
Bjorn Lodbrok is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lodbrok cracks Jones with an open hand slap.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones cracks Lodbrok with a right hand to the side of the head.

Jones closes the distance and pushes Lodbrok back into the cage.
Jones seems to have got his legs back now.
Lodbrok lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Lodbrok.
Lodbrok jerks Jones's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Jones drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Lodbrok goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Lodbrok because Jones was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
