The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spinnet throws a nice looking combination but Pierce bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
John Spinnet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spinnet scores with a spinning back kick!
Spinnet pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A solid body kick from Spinnet.
Spinnet misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
As Spinnet looks to move away, Pierce throws a big counter combo bu Spinnet just gets out of the way.
Spinnet throws a front kick that sends Pierce stumbling back into the cage.
Pierce is breathing heavily.
Horrible takedown attempt by Spinnet or perhaps it was just good defense by Pierce, which made it look bad.
Pierce throws a counter high kick but Spinnet was just alert enough to avoid it.
Spinnet lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Denver Pierce has been cut.
Spinnet connects with a right that clearly hurt Pierce. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Spinnet proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Pierce collapses and taps out under the pressure!
