Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doomsday Drost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Hearns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drost comes to the cage accompanied by Kilpi - Sielut Iskee Tulta. Hearns has chosen Black Eyed Bruiser as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hearns, as that shot connected.
A slapping leg kick lands for Hearns.
Hearns finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
It looked like Drost wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Hearns throws a right and a left that Drost avoids nicely.

It looks like Thomas Hearns has been cut.
Drost comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Hearns closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hearns misses with a hook from the clinch.

Drost manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
I was talking to Drost's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Drost is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hearns pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Drost thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hearns's head.
Hearns tries to roll over but Drost keeps him under control.
Drost seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Hearns is rocked!
Drost lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Hearns quite badly. Hearns pulls Drost in close trying to recover. Drost postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Hearns on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Hearns doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

In his post fight interview, Doomsday Drost started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
