Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Marquardt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Force (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Force is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marquardt wants to clinch.
Marquardt moves into range and clinches up with Force.
Marquardt looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Marquardt is pressed up against the cage. Force has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Marquardt down to the mat. Marquardt avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Force rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Marquardt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Marquardt is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Marquardt tries to close the distance and clinch but Force swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Force looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Force connects with a nice short shot to Marquardt's temple.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Marquardt wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
