The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rack tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Wettin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rack shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Wettin counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Wettin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rack doesn't seem bothered though.
Rack moves to clinch but Wettin breaks away

and Wettin counters with a single leg into guard. Rack didn't expect that.
Rack wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Wettin is now in half guard.
Rack throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rack wants to control but Wettin is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Wettin moves nicely into side control.

Wettin tries for a kimura but Rack is defending well.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
