Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cole Trickle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Lytle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lytle has chosen Light's Out as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cole Trickle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Christopher Lytle!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trickle throws a lazy right hand but Lytle sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Trickle shoots in but Lytle avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lytle shoots and misses

and Trickle counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lytle won't be happy with that.

Trickle is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lytle knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lytle had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Trickle is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lytle Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Trickle's back instead.

Lytle is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Trickle has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Trickle!
Cole Trickle is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Trickle stays in close to Lytle's body and controls the position.
Trickle stands up over Lytle, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Lytle working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Trickle doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Trickle manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Trickle might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Trickle distracts Lytle with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Trickle thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Trickle takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Trickle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lytle keeps working.
Trickle looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Trickle not landing any meaningful shots this time.

And that's the end of the fight!
Christopher Lytle comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Trickle has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
