Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tim Buckner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uriel Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tim Buckner had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black tries to close the distance and clinch but Buckner swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Buckner looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Black swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Black misses with a takedown attempt - Buckner sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Black is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Buckner.

Black seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Black decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

The crowd cheers as Black lands an impressive looking overhand right. Buckner doesn't seem phased though.
Buckner takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Black tries a knee to the head but Buckner blocks it.

Black lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Buckner backwards.

Black breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Donk. Black catches Buckner right on the button with a cross.
Black closes this distance looking for a takedown but Buckner circles away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Black paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Black bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Buckner! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Buckner is rocked!
Black is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Oh Buckner is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Black gets to his feet - Buckner follows without any prompting.
Buckner seems to have got his legs back now.

Black decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Black lands with a hook. Buckner tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Black is pushing Buckner up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Black might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Black shoots in but Buckner avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Tim Buckner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Black scores with a sloppy right hand. Buckner should have avoided that one.
Black throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Buckner's waist but Buckner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Black off to one side.

Black looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Uriel Black has got the better of the ground game so far.

Buckner is looking to control Black's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Buckner avoid being mounted?

Black throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Buckner on the side of the head.

Black lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Buckner down.

Black decides to stand back up. Black steps back and let's Buckner get back to his feet.
Black shoots for a takedown but Buckner saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Buckner gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Black seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Well Black has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
