The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miguel lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Evgeni Karlov has been cut.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Karlov lands a left hand.
Karlov pushes Miguel back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Miguel tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Karlov just stands there and leans against the cage.
Miguel wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Karlov throws a punch but it's blocked by Miguel.
Karlov prevents the takedown attempt.
Miguel tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Karlov smiles and moves away.
Evgeni Karlov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amos Miguel.

Karlov wants to control but Miguel postures up.
Miguel lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Karlov down.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Miguel is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Karlov is trying to escape and Miguel transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Karlov is forced to tap! Nice work there by Miguel! Very nice indeed!
