The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dane misses with a takedown attempt - Moonstone sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Moonstone looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Dane seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Moonstone for as long as he can get away with.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dane misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Dane has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee asks Dane politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Dane prefers to stall for the moment though.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Dane tries to close the distance and clinch up but Moonstone swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moonstone is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Dane scores with a couple of nice shots.
Moonstone is looking for a sweep. Dane is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Dane passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Moonstone!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Moonstone can do anything to dispel that myth.

Dane has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Dane is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Dane extends the arm and Moonstone is forced to tap!
