Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paul McKenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jui Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McKenzie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Norma Jean- Memphis Will be Laid to Waste. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Paul McKenzie has been cut.

McKenzie throws a one two combo.
McKenzie throws a series of punches but Jitsu moves out of range.
Decent striking displayed by McKenzie there.

McKenzie changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Jitsu shoots for a takedown but McKenzie saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jitsu has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jitsu there as he acknowledges the shot.

Jitsu is rocked!

Jitsu looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Jitsu is still in real trouble! Can McKenzie finish him?
Jitsu thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
McKenzie is trying to stand.
Jitsu seems to have recovered his senses.
McKenzie is looking to improve his position.
McKenzie looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jitsu works his way into side control.
McKenzie wants to get back to his feet but Jitsu drags him back down.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
McKenzie looks to land a combination but Jitsu avoids it well.
McKenzie throws a shot to the body.
Jitsu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McKenzie as he jumps to the side.
Jitsu looks gassed!
McKenzie connects with a body shot.
McKenzie throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Jitsu takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Jitsu throws a lazy right hand but McKenzie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and McKenzie makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
McKenzie connects with a single shot there.

McKenzie uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jitsu takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McKenzie scores with a decent looking hook.
Jitsu misses with a double jab
and McKenzie counters with a three punch combo that has Jitsu backing up. Jitsu nods at McKenzie to acknowledge the strikes.
McKenzie dances in with a quick combination. Jitsu is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from McKenzie snaps Jitsu's head back. Jitsu stumbles backwards against the cage. McKenzie steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Jitsu's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Jitsu just didn't come prepared.
