Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Driscoll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Driscoll is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dick Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Peter Driscoll!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Hunter misses.
Driscoll has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Hunter stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hunter wants it to stay on the feet.
Hunter throws a head kick but Driscoll moves out of range.
Hunter fails to land with a series of punches.
Driscoll shoots in looking for a takedown but Hunter manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Driscoll's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Driscoll looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Dick Hunter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Driscoll.
Driscoll dives in and grabs Hunter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hunter pushes down on Driscoll's head and hops out.

And Driscoll tries to counter it with a takedown but Hunter pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Driscoll shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hunter as he avoids it easily.
Dick Hunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hunter lands with a good body shot.
Driscoll throws a series of punches but Hunter moves out of range.
Hunter tries to work over Driscoll's front leg with a kick but Driscoll checks it.

Driscoll will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Driscoll goes for a double leg but Hunter avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hunter continues to drive forward.

Hunter tries to counter by clinching up but Driscoll breaks away and moves out of range.

Hunter closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Hunter is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Driscoll scores with a takedown into Hunter's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Driscoll is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Driscoll works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Driscoll with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Driscoll not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Driscoll is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hunter defends it well.
Driscoll perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Driscoll not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Hunter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Driscoll on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Driscoll shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hunter as he jumps to the side.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hunter looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Driscoll fails with a takedown attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hunter tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Driscoll defends well and Hunter ends up having to push Driscoll into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hunter throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Driscoll counters with a three punch combo that has Hunter backing up. Hunter nods at Driscoll to acknowledge the strikes.
Driscoll avoids a punch combination nicely.

Driscoll has closed the distance and engaged Hunter in a clinch.
Hunter looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Hunter keeps control of Driscoll as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Hunter tries to break the clinch but Driscoll is controlling the position.
Driscoll wants to break free but Hunter has control.

Driscoll manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Hunter throws a nice looking combination but Driscoll bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Driscoll keeps control of Hunter as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Driscoll tries to land knees in the clinch but Hunter avoids the damage to the body.

No luck for Driscoll with that takedown attempt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hunter leaves Driscoll with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Hunter is trying to force a seperation but Driscoll has the dominant position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Driscoll takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Poor strikes thrown by Driscoll there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Hunter is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
