The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polfavol closes the distance and clinches up with World, looking for a takedown. Polfavol pushes World against the cage but World circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
World connects with a solid leg kick.
World looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Polfavol drives through with a takedown into guard.
World looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Polfavol has gone for a leg lock! World slips out almost immediately though and dives into Polfavol's guard.
World would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Polfavol feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well World has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
