Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Patricky Freire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Calderwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jon Calderwood told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calderwood misses the jab.
Freire bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Freire trying to control the position but Calderwood is working away.
Freire is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Calderwood looks calm but he's in trouble here. Freire gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Calderwood is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Freire lets go of the hold and Calderwood can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Patricky Freire!
