Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldwin shoots in for a takedown but Mir shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Aldwin misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Mir connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mir works the jab nicely.

Mir moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Aldwin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Mir just misses with a punch to the body.
Mir lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Aldwin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mir pinned against the cage. Mir gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Aldwin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mir sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Aldwin somewhat.
Aldwin shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Aldwin goes for a double leg but Mir avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mir continues to drive forward.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Mir takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Aldwin wants to take the fight to the mat but Mir manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Mir continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.

Mir lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Aldwin backwards.
Aldwin tries to stall but Mir uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Aldwin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mir smiles and moves away.
Aldwin avoids the body shot from Mir.
No joy there for Mir, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Aldwin connects with a single shot there.

Aldwin tries to keep at a distance but Mir has taken the fight into the clinch.
Mir tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Aldwin wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Mir scores with a hook to the body.
Aldwin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mir avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Mir lands a left hand that snaps the head of Aldwin backwards.

Aldwin blocks a body shot from Mir.
Mir doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Aldwin tries to score a body lock takedown but Mir shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Mir scores with a nice hook to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Aldwin wants to break free but Mir has control.
Mir throws a head punch that misses.

Aldwin is trying to pull guard but Mir has him pressed against the cage.
Mir will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Aldwin up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aldwin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Mir scoring well with a low kick there.
Aldwin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mir can pounce on him.
Aldwin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mir feints a counter leg kick.
Aldwin on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Mir has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Aldwin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aldwin tries to clinch
and Mir counters with a three punch combo that has Aldwin backing up. Aldwin nods at Mir to acknowledge the strikes.


Aldwin is rocked!
Kaball Aldwin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mir lands with a cross.
Oh Aldwin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mir lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Aldwin goes down and covers up as Mir starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Mir!
