Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Lanes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerbert Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lanes fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bryant to the ground. Lanes is now in Bryant's guard.

Lanes swings around for an armbar but Bryant sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lanes's guard.
Bryant slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Lanes is looking for a triangle here but Bryant uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Lanes shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lanes showed some decent athleticism there.

Lanes is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bryant is just riding it out for now. Lanes eventually gives up the hold.
