Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dutch Schultz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Jacobson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dutch Schultz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chris Jacobson!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Dmitry Maklakov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobson takes a kick to the side of the head.
Schultz connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jacobson's hands.
Jacobson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Schultz as he avoids it easily.
Schultz throws a series of punches but Jacobson avoids them all with ease.
Schultz works Jacobson's body with a nice hook.
Schultz throws a head kick that misses.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jacobson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Schultz fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jacobson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Schultz has managed to clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Schultz creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Schultz blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Jacobson has picked Schultz up - he's going for a ride! Jacobson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Schultz is looking to control Jacobson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Schultz avoid being mounted?

The crowd cheers as Schultz lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jacobson doesn't seem phased though.
Schultz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Jacobson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Schultz clobbers Jacobson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Jacobson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Dutch Schultz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Schultz. Jacobson does a little dance to reset his feet.
We've been told by Schultz's head coaches at Nonstop Intensity that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Schultz lands with a nice body kick.

Schultz throws a quick head kick that knocks Jacobson silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Schultz is up on the ropes, taking in the applause from the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dutch Schultz!
A less than humble Dutch Schultz misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
