Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Charles Edilo!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaines fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Edilo, pushing him back against the cage.
Edilo gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Gaines looks like he's trying to stand up.
Edilo wants to control but Gaines is keeping him busy.
Gaines wants to get back to his feet.
Gaines manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Gaines takes the fight into the clinch.
Edilo fails to pull guard.
Gaines tries to work over Edilo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Gaines prevents Edilo from breaking the clinch.
Gaines jumps into guard, dragging Edilo to the mat.

Gaines looking for a guillotine here but Edilo defends easily.
Edilo trying to control the position from guard on top but Gaines is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gaines uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Edilo pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gaines back to the cage. Edilo follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Tristan Gaines has been cut.
Edilo throws a low kick but Gaines moves out of range easily.
Gaines moves into the clinch.
Gaines pressing his opponent against the cage.
A short uppercut from Gaines.

Gaines decides to pull guard.
Gaines looking to hit a scissor sweep but Edilo is one step ahead there.
Edilo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gaines has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Edilo has managed to get both his arms back between Gaines's legs - danger averted.
Gaines could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gaines looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Edilo is defending well. Gaines quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Edilo has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gaines celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
