Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bosse Grepp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kawee Somchai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Somchai has chosen Hell's Bells as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bosse Grepp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kawee Somchai!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Somchai closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Somchai really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grepp. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Grepp looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Somchai is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Somchai is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Grepp is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Somchai is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Somchai rushes Grepp and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Somchai tries for a takedown. No joy.
Grepp has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Somchai is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Somchai tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Somchai tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Grepp just stands there and leans against the cage.

Grepp blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Somchai is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Grepp gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Bosse Grepp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kawee Somchai.
