Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodrick Skiter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miklo Velka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velka has chosen Cypress Hill - Insane In The Membrane as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skiter throws a jab but it's blocked by Velka.
Velka looks like he wants to counter punch here.
A head kick from Velka lands but Skiter takes it in his stride.
A good leg kick by Velka.
Velka throws a jab but it's blocked by Skiter.
Skiter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Skiter takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Velka misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Skiter.
Velka throws a head kick that misses.
Skiter checks the leg kick.
Velka misses with a looping left.
Velka thuds his right hand into Skiter's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Velka moves in looking to clinch but Skiter pushes him off.
Skiter fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Velka.
Velka moves into range and connects with a jab.
Velka looks to land a right hand but Skiter moved out of range.
Velka wants to slow Skiter down by chopping away at his legs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Skiter counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Miklo Velka has been cut.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Skiter, right into the meat.
Velka throws a nice inside leg kick.
Skiter throws a lazy right hand but Velka sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Skiter takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Good leg kick by Skiter there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Skiter dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Velka. That did some damage!
Skiter keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Skiter lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Velka takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Velka throws a jab when Skiter was well out of range.
Velka misses the shot to the body.

Velka closes the distance and clinches.
Skiter scores with a shot to the side of Velka's head.
Velka is struggling to control the position.
Skiter digs a right hand into Velka's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Velka's gas tank.
Velka blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Velka throws an elbow but it misses.
Skiter avoids the elbow strike from Velka, against the cage.

Velka stalling in the clinch but Skiter improves position.
Velka wants to stall.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Velka just misses with a elbow thrown towards Skiter's brow.
Velka utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Skiter lands a body punch in the clinch.
Velka trying to control the position but instead, Skiter has worked for underhooks and has pushed Velka into the cage.
Skiter lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Velka tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Skiter avoids it.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Velka.
Skiter lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Velka backwards.
Skiter digs a right hand underneath Velka's ribcage. Velka let out a lung full of air as it connected.
A right handed body shot lands from Skiter.
Velka looks winded!
Skiter lands a right hand.

Skiter on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Skiter blocks the elbow strike.
Skiter lands with a short head shot on the inside.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Skiter creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Skiter lands a left hand that snaps the head of Velka backwards.

Velka is rocked!

That has opened up Miklo Velka's cut even more.
Skiter throws a big uppercut that drops Velka! More strikes from Skiter and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Velka lies dazed against the cage as Skiter celebrates with his cornermen!
