The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

smith shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. smith showed some decent athleticism there.
Sizwe wants to stand back up but smith manages to pass into side control.
Sizwe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for smith on the ground.
smith scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Sizwe to see if he's OK.
Sizwe is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
smith has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Sizwe is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Sizwe turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips smith off and cradles Sizwe's limp body as smith celebrates with his corner.
