Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Mitchelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jack Mitchelson!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a nice looking combination but Mitchelson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Mitchelson instigates a clinch.
Mitchelson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Smith avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Smith is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mitchelson can't fight it off and eventually Smith manages to take the fight to the floor. Mitchelson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Mitchelson is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Smith defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

You can see the frustration on Smith's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
