Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Otto Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Bullzan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Otto Peterson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Anthony Bullzan!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ben Watson and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bullzan scores with a takedown into Peterson's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Peterson is looking to stand up but Bullzan isn't so interested in that idea.
Bullzan wants to control from the top but Peterson keeps moving.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Bullzan is stalling here. Peterson is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Bullzan seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Peterson has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bullzan can do anything to dispel that myth.

Peterson has his foot on Bullzan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bullzan works his way back into a safe position though.
Bullzan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Peterson manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Peterson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bullzan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Peterson to the mat. Peterson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
