Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tumbu Bukasa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kurt Lockheart!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Dean Styles and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lockheart looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bukasa is fending him off so far but Lockheart persists. Nope, Bukasa circles away and we're back to standing.
Lockheart will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bukasa lands with a thumping leg kick.
Bukasa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bukasa sets himself, and Lockheart steps forward looking for the clinch! Bukasa avoids it this time.
Bukasa throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lockheart's head.

It looks like Kurt Lockheart has been cut.
Lockheart tries to clinch up but Bukasa circles away and keeps his distance.
Bukasa half committed to a counter leg kick.
Bukasa tries to land a front kick but Lockheart steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Lockheart is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Good leg kick by Bukasa there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Lockheart blocks a head kick by Bukasa.
Lockheart wants to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lockheart darts in looking for a takedown but Bukasa gets double underhooks and turns Lockheart into the cage.
Tumbu Bukasa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kurt Lockheart.
A nice inside leg kick there by Bukasa. That's going to slow Lockheart down.
We've been informed that Lockheart has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Lockheart tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bukasa paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bukasa walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lockheart checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
We've been told by Bukasa's head coaches at King's Palace that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
A slapping body kick lands there for Bukasa.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bukasa.

Lockheart darts in and clinches Bukasa up against the cage.
Lockheart has Bukasa pressed against the cage, preventing Bukasa from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Lockheart can't get the takedown.
Bukasa blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Bukasa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bukasa feints and then cracks Lockheart's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lockheart down.
Bukasa scoring well with a low kick there.
Lockheart tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bukasa lands a nice leg kick that just misses Lockheart's sensitive parts.
Bukasa keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lockheart takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Lockheart tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bukasa swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bukasa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tumbu Bukasa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lockheart shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bukasa circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Bukasa counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Lockheart is lucky that one didn't land flush.

A slapping body kick lands there for Bukasa.
The fighters circle, before Bukasa throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Lockheart's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Bukasa lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Tumbu Bukasa seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Kurt Lockheart spoke after the fight, saying 'I'm sorry I did not deliver. I'll work harder in order not to disappoint the fans.'.
