Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamarcus Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Blackstone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Johnson is going olschool here, as he tries to force Blackstone to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Blackstone shrugs it off.

Johnson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Blackstone can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Blackstone gets caught flat footed, as Johnson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Johnson has gone for a leg lock! Blackstone slips out almost immediately though and dives into Johnson's guard.

Johnson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Blackstone is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Johnson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Blackstone's back instead.

Blackstone remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
