Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muh Texii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bryan Kennedy could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Muh Texii's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Muh Texii!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Texii misses its intended target.
Texii rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Texii takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kennedy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Texii fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kennedy avoids it really well and circles away.
Texii avoids the head kick by Kennedy.
Texii shoots and misses
and Kennedy counters with a right hand to the body.
Kennedy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Texii manages to avoid it.
Kennedy misses with a head kick.
Kennedy tries a head kick but it misses.
Muh Texii seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kennedy tries to close the distance and clinch but Texii swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Texii shoots in looking for a takedown. Kennedy tries to sprawl out of it but Texii keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kennedy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bryan Kennedy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Muh Texii.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Texii crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kennedy - the referee stops the clock and Texii gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kennedy. Texii manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Texii tries a low kick but Kennedy avoids it.
Texii looks for a takedown but Kennedy sprawls well.
Kennedy jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Kennedy moves out of range of the body kick from Texii.
Kennedy tries a head kick but it misses.
Kennedy throws a body punch but Texii moves out of range.
Bryan Kennedy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kennedy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kennedy leaves Texii with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Texii looks to land a right hand but Kennedy moved out of range.
Kennedy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kennedy enables Texii to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kennedy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Kennedy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Kennedy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Texii on the ground.
Kennedy is breathing heavily.

Texii thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Texii closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kennedy did well to prevent Texii getting side control.
Texii not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Texii not doing much here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Texii has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kennedy defend it? Texii steps over the head and cranks it - Kennedy is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Texii!
