Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Render (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Spigelman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Render comes to the cage accompanied by Run the Jewels - Close Your Eyes. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Arthur Spigelman!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Render displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Spigelman throws out the jab.
Spigelman slaps away a takedown attempt from Render, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Render shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Spigelman as he avoids it easily.
A little jabbing left from Spigelman on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Render uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Spigelman.
Render half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Render moves out of range as Spigelman strikes.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Render.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Render. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Spigelman sizes up Render with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Render definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Render shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Spigelman sprawls well. Spigelman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Render gets slowly back to his feet.

Spigelman misses with an uppercut. Render saw that one coming.
Render fails with a takedown attempt.
Render looks for a takedown but Spigelman sprawls well.
Spigelman looks to land a left hand but Render moved out of range nicely.
Spigelman displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Render.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Spigelman! But no joy.

Render changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Spigelman tries to avoid it but Render manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Spigelman to the ground. Spigelman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Render really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Spigelman cracks Render with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Render shoots in for a takedown but Spigelman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Nice straight punches there by Spigelman. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Spigelman.


Render is rocked!
Spigelman fakes the body blow, causing Render to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Render goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
