Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Rude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rowdy Roddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rude might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to confetti falling as The Ravishing One struts down the isle in a glittery pu. Rick Rude has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rude slaps away a takedown attempt from Roddy, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Rude lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Roddy at a distance.
Nice shot lands for Rude.
Rude looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rude misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Roddy.
Rude scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Roddy doesn't seem bothered though.

It looks like Rowdy Roddy has been cut.
Rude jabs at Roddy's body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rude throws a combination. Roddy tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Rude thuds a left hand into Roddy's body.
Rowdy Roddy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oooooh!!! Rude has knocked Roddy down with a huge combo! Rude steps away and waves a wobbly Roddy back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Rude lands a jab to Roddy's midsection.
Roddy is still on wobbly legs! Can Rude finish him?
Roddy takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Rude is looking to wear down Roddy with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Are you kidding me?! Rude ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Roddy clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Rick Rude opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
