Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Diego English (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ewan Julian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Diego English!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ewan Julian!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Julian has a takedown stuffed.
Julian tried to score with a low kick but English checks it.

Julian drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
English keeping moving, preventing Julian from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Julian controls from within his opponent's guard.
Julian has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of English is proving hard to escape from.

English can't keep his opponent in guard - Julian advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as English holds on and takes a little breather.

English really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Let's hope that Julian has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

English manages to work his way to half guard, despite Julian's best efforts.
English pushes Julian off looking to stand but Julian dives back in and keeps control.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Well Julian has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
