Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joe Ruden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Floyd Johnson!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson stuffs the takedown.
Johnson throws a half hearted mid kick.

Ruden throws the left hand but Johnson avoids the punch easily.
Nice defenses there by Johnson.
Johnson dodges the punch combination from Ruden.
Ruden throws a body punch but Johnson moves out of range.

Ruden scores with a head kick. Johnson tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Ruden tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Johnson swivels and escapes.

Ruden paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ruden shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.


It looks like Joe Ruden has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ruden lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Johnson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Johnson tries to land a front kick but Ruden steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Ruden throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Johnson.

Ruden is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Ruden throws a hook to the side of Johnson's head but Johnson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Johnson throws a looping overhand right but Ruden ducks down to avoid it.
Ruden was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Ruden rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Johnson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ruden manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Johnson on his heels. He'll look to pass Johnson's guard now, I'm sure.

Johnson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Johnson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Johnson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ruden.

Johnson feints and then cracks Ruden's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ruden down.
