Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Evan Better (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pony Mclovin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Better kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mother by Danzig. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Better tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A little jabbing left from Mclovin on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Better connects with an inside leg kick.
Better throws a body shot but no joy.
Better tries to clinch there but Mclovin circles away.
Mclovin lets loose with a powerful body kick. Better will feel that in the morning.
Evan Better seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Better tries to land a front kick but Mclovin steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Better walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Better looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Better has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mclovin finds it's way round the side to connect with Better's head.

Mclovin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Better throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mclovin lands a nice shot to the body.
Mclovin fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Better tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Mclovin swings for the body but Better moves out of range.
Mclovin stuns Better with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Better throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mclovin was covering up waiting for the punch and Better finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Better wants to control from the top but Mclovin keeps moving.
Mclovin wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Better throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mclovin dips to his left and cracks Better with an uppercut!

Mclovin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Better circles away quickly and effectively.

Better misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Better content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Better tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Mclovin avoids it.
Mclovin is pressed up against the cage. Better has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mclovin down to the mat. Mclovin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Better throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mclovin's waist but Mclovin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Better off to one side.
