Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Burns and George Pierre Hennard. Burns comes to the cage accompanied by Rock Master Scott & The Dynamic Three - The Roof Is On Fire. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 wins, 7 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Los Angeles, George Pierre Hennard!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.



The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burns gets caught flat footed, as Hennard shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Brian Burns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Pierre Hennard.
Hennard changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Burns tries to avoid it but Hennard manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Burns to the ground. Burns escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hennard bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Burns's head backwards.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Burns throws an overhand right that lands on Hennard's shoulder, as Hennard tries to avoid the shot.

Hennard moves into the clinch successfully.
Burns tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Burns misses with a hook to the ribs.

I think Hennard has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
