Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrew Stevenson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Astolfo Silva!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson fails with a takedown attempt.
Silva looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Stevenson dives in and scores a takedown into Silva's guard.

Stevenson is looking for a kimura but Silva is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Stevenson to get the leverage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Stevenson decides to return to a standing position.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Silva.
Silva is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Stevenson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Stevenson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
