The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Brown looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Armstrong shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Armstrong looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brown is fending him off so far but Armstrong persists. Nope, Brown circles away and we're back to standing.
Brown is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Armstrong with a body shot.
Brown throws a head kick that misses.
Nathaniel Armstrong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloppy strikes from Brown. Those never looked like landing.
Armstrong half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
